I am a photographer and designer based in Edmonton. I came
to Amiskwacîwâskahikan from the Indian subcontinent to study Design at the University of Alberta, where I graduated in 2022.

Photography has been a part of my life for more than 15 years.
I use photography to notice places, people, light, and the small details often missed. I am interested in how a photograph can hold a memory and how that memory changes with time.

My work is connected to land, history, and the ways knowledge is carried from one generation to another. I often think about
the land as a record of what has happened there.
Through photography, I try to witness moments of change and transformation and record what is there at a particular moment.

I am interested in the space between observing and participating. Sometimes my work comes from simply being present and allowing a moment to unfold. Through photography, printmaking, and visual documentation, I try to create work that gives space to these moments and allows the viewer to make their own connection.
My work has been exhibited at the Art Gallery of Alberta, FAB Gallery at the University of Alberta, Latitude 53, Peel Art Gallery, Tagore Theatre in Chandigarh, and other cultural spaces in Edmonton and elsewhere.
Alongside my artistic practice, I work in exhibition preparation, art handling, and installation. This has given me another way of understanding artworks through their materials, spaces, and the process of bringing them together.
